Mm. [Elaine is holding several neatly creased pieces of paper in her hand. Her other hand is holding her forehead, as she leans her elbows on her desk. There's a slight hint of a smile in her face, and her voice.]
"We, the denizens of the most glorious and divine host, would like to make it known publicly how your very being is an abomination to the most holy will of our God and Lord, the Source of all Light and Truth, bringer of Justice and..." Mm.
[Her eyes trail down the page, as she mutters.] "Living and Eternal Will... Shepherd of the Lambs..." [There is more vague muttering, follwed every once in a while by a sigh. Eventually, she turns to the next page.]
"...and Redeemer of all those who have sinned. For your father to have birthed such a heathen and blasphemer as you, by the rape of a mortal woman, is an affront to the Divine Will of Yahweh himself, and his death was a just and righteous act of predestination. For now your father Michael lies in eternal torment, forever to repay his sins, a fate brought about by your selfish and uncaring actions.
"A betrayer such as yourself, who knows of no love for her fellow man, who has left her father to his eternal torture, and her world to its cruel fate, heedless of the billions of... of souls and enteties that reside therein, deserves no forgiveness or pity. It is with joy that we smite your image, and that we daily whip your father's corpse."
Mm.
[She puts down the papers, her smile now a rueful one.] It probably doesn't seem like such a big deal to some of you, and I thought I might just ignore this. It's not like I wanted to leave... The letter from the demons in hell wasn't as nice.
[She sighs once more, before reaching over to turn off the video.]

[She wants to ask what was said about Angel's parents, but she decides against it.] It's mostly just made up nonesense anyway.

But the truth is that I don't really know him at all.

[She'll find out later in her canon that her parents sold her for money, knowing or at least not caring what would happen to her and her brother, but she doesn't know that yet.]

[That doesn't really help with how bad she's feeling right now. Although she does give a smile, trying to hide her true feelings.] And yes, you're a good person. Don't worry about any of it too much.

[There's a short pause.] Do you want to go flying?

[[ooc: I just realized that a comment log about just their flying around would be sort of odd. So is it alright if we just handwave this? :P ]
