[Why is it that when someone does something crazy, the immediate reaction is for someone else to do something crazy? That's probably just how it is in the Mansion.]
[The video comes on to show Elaine sitting next to her open window, a big box of tissues on the desk beside her, and a trash can under that. She can be heard sniffing every once in a while, and her eyes are somewhat teary. Her voice sounds muffled too.]
I'm sick. *sniff* I think the last time I was sick was a few years ago. I have a feeling I could make it go away, but I don't want to risk it. *sniff* I might end up killing myself or something.
[A small sigh that sounds understated yet at the same time frustrated.] I guess it's safe for me to stay in my room, then. Good thing the door is boarded up. I won't be tempted to go out.
[ooc: Yes, the Major's virus has hit her. Tenth floor and all. I dunno if she can even get sick in her canon, but since she's subduing most of her power right now then I guess she can here. Besides, it would be a bit suspicious if she never got sick as a child, considering no one, not even herself, knew what she was.]

[Covering her mouth with her hands after coughing makes her voice sound even more muffled.] Don't worry about that. *sniff* I don't think it's anything serious, though. Just the
swineflu or something....*cough*

on 2010-01-09 08:35 am (UTC)Listen, if it gets any worse, please tell me. It might be contagious, but I'd rather catch it than not help you when you needed it.
