I thought it was fun. Um, the event, not school. School was kind of boring, but at least it was normal. [He laughs a little. He sounds tired.] But the event was nice. It's been awhile since I had family like that.

[Her smile fades somewhat.] I have an uncle. And a father, but he... [And now her smile fades completely.] Died, a few seconds before I came here, to Wonderland. And I have a grandfather, but he left us. He left everyone.
[He's quiet for a moment.] ...I'm sorry.
[She make a face, almost like she's laughing.] Don't be like that, it's not your fault. For a while I had a somewhat normal family, and that's going to have to be enough, for me.
Besides, my uncle is pretty cool.

I-- ...I guess it depends on which home you mean. But mostly, except for not having Shiro around, I like this place a lot better.
I miss my friend, too. And I really hope time doesn't pass back home. It'd mess up everything.
