So who's this Mr. Bubbles? I was kind of surprised to find a girl named Cindy on her own. I'm taking care of her for now, but whoever this Mister Bubbles is... you had better come pick her up soon. I get the feeling that she really misses you.

In other news, it seems like the Mansion is getting a lot of newcomers. So let's try to help them feel at home, alright? It was really hard for me when I frist arrived, and it probably is for them, too.

I see. But maybe he can help me take care of her. He did say that she was more prone to trusting him and Sinclair than other people, so she might like it if Jack is around. I'll ask him about it.

I doubt I could do it, in any case. But maybe there's someone here who can.

To make more ADAM. Everything in Rapture hinged on ADAM. It's a drug, and almost the entire city was hooked on it. It comes from the slugs, that's how the Little Sisters make more.

But she's different. She seems a little more human than the others. She still remembers her name.

I don't understand why everyone is so worried about her just because she's little.

And speaking of Cindy... I have a favor to ask, and it's really, uhm, it's kind of a big favor.

It's not really because she's little. I'm twelve, and Angel's six I think, and we handle well enough on our own. But Cindy is... very trusting. She listened to me immediately when I started taking care of her. She did everything I asked her to.

I just don't want her to be abused. Especially with the Major, and apparently Lamb, in the same building.

Oh ... that makes sense.

Are we users? Yeah. These days, I use EVE--that's the sister drug to ADAM.

[Finger-snap, and his left fist is pierced through with spikes of ice.]

That's a plasmid. ADAM creates the plasmid in your body, and EVE fuels it.

[He listens, then nods, smiling a little and snapping his plasmid back off.]

You want me to take care of her. Sure, I'll do it, if she'll go with me.

[Elaine stares at the plasmid.] I can see why people would want to use it. But if you keep using EVE, then won't you get addicted?

I hope you don't mind. It's just that you're used to taking care of young girls, and you said that you have a bit of that smell that she likes. And I can take care of her any time that you're too busy.

I didn't leave her anywhere.

All of Rapture was like family to me.

All the so-called nations are jackasses, it's unavoidable that they would be issuing threats.

[His smile is a little tight.] You could say I was born addicted, Elaine.

[It's rather a lot of trouble, actually, but Jack's sentiment is genuine. And, after neatening himself up a little, he will appear at Elaine's room to collect Cindy.]

Yes. Apparently he's Sinclair. [Cheeky grin.] Long story.

Mr Sinclair? Really?

...He doesn't seem much like a knight in shining armour like she said. Is he going to be taking care of her then?

Well, I... guess so, but I wouldn't say all of them.

Oh. [She remembers the snippets of conversation they've had about his past.] Being born to do anything... being born into a destiny is a pain.

[So let's assume that Cindy is sleeping because I have yet to clear up the trade with Cindy-mun orz. Will get back on that.]

[Elaine opens the door and slips outside, closing it quietly behind her.] Hey.

...I know you probably don't want to deal with her, but you should've at least found her somewhere else to stay.

Apparently, it's more to do with some sort of programming he has in him, than his actual appearance.

No, he's not. Jack's willing to, though.

Hey. She still here?

Yup, sound asleep. She's really burning through my energy fast. Not to mention I can't seem to get used to that strange voice of hers.

...She wants her crayons back from Sinclair.
