[Despite the fact that the video just comes on, it's easy to feel the sheer amount of panic coming through the screen. The camera is jostled several times, until it shows Elaine kneeling in front of it, submerged in a kaleidoscope of colors. All around her are glowing orbs. Green ones, blue ones, orange, all of them spinning rapidly. More appear by the second. Too many. The space in her room is rapidly growing smaller.]

It's... too many, could someone...

Just help me... [She bows her head, hands to her temples, trying to fight back the gigantic migraine working its way into her system.] I don't want to know. I don't!

[And in her fit of panic, she does something that will take her quite a while to recover from.] Would you kindly come here!

[She shivers, knowing that she's crossed a line.]

Sorry to everyone for being so slow. :\ I don't have internet at home. Okay, so Elaine's fear is basically being omniscient (in this case she can feel everything happening on all of those planets). Of course she won't be reading your mind or knowing what you're doing without your permission, but if you want that to happen please ask me. Either way, feel free to reply! :P And, uhm, if you guys want your own character to have omniscience for what's left of the event, then it's mostly the whole "finding out what people actually think of you" and stuff like that. Stuff your charcters generally don't want to know. :)]]

[Rei's reaction to being called Lilith is only a slight wince, and her expression doesn't change. When does it ever?]

[The next part she says out loud.] I don't know. I don't think so.

[The idea she's thinking of to help is pretty far-fetched, and probably wouldn't work anyway. But it's occurred to her that, as a vessel for Lilith, she's able to contain a lot of power. She's also got a very strong AT Field for the same reason....]

My AT Field...

[Omniscience being the bitch that it is, Elaine already knows what she's thinking.] You'd steal it. Lilith. You'd steal my power, like the titans tried to steal heaven.

[There's another pause. Though her expression still doesn't change, Rei's taken aback by this because...yes, that is what Lilith would do. In a manner of speaking.

But she's not Lilith...right?]

...What would I do with it?

Instrumentality. [Hell, she doesn't even know what that means. She'd picked the word out of Rei's head, but it seemed correct. She could feel Rei's thoughts and emotions and history, she hear Rei's stare and smell her heartbeat. She sifts through her thoughts to find what Instrumentality means... and she's appalled.]

[In the most open display of emotion Rei has shown in...a long time...her eyes widen and she clutches her head.]

Stay out!

[A reaction... Elaine's thoughts return harder still.]

I can't! You're the mother of Shinji. You pilot Unit Zero-Zero. You were murdered by Naoko Akagi in 2010, and you died again to kill an angel. You caused the First Impact.

[Even though they're not in the same place, Rei extends her AT Field, trying to block Elaine out.]

I'm Rei!

[At least, she thinks she is. It's hard to know.]

Yes, you're Rei. You're also Lilith. And Yui Ikari.

... [Elaine finally settles back down. The AT field blurs the connection, and she begins to calm.] What kind of monsters did those things to you...

Commander Ikari...

[She wants to deny that he's a monster, because there's still a fog of pseudo-affection surrounding her memory of him. But she knows well enough the lengths he was willing to go to to get back to Yui.

She shakes her head.]

Stay out.

Commander Ikari wants to destroy everything. [She's calm now. Her voice sounds clear.] I'm tired... All these planets are too much to handle.

Destroy them.

[Because destroying things is just...part of existence to Rei.]

I feel...

Okay. [There was once a time when Lucifer saved Elaine by destroying billions and billions of souls. And Elaine never really said anything about it. That same feeling starts to return, now. Pragmatism.]

It will be easy.

[But she won't offer to help. She doesn't want to get close to Elaine right now.]
